Getting here.

We are located in the heart of downtown Inverness, only a few blocks away from the County Courthouse. The entrance to our parking lot is on West Dampier Street, immediately behind the church.

Children’s Sunday School.

If you have children elementary school age or younger, you may choose to drop them off at Children’s Sunday School before the service. Check-in begins at 8:45am in the Ministry Building, at the far north side of our campus, closest to West Dampier Street. There the children will be taught by two ministry volunteers an age-appropriate lesson centered on the gospel passage for the day together with an activity. All our volunteers have been certified by the diocese to serve in this capacity. The children will rejoin their parents in the church during the offertory to be present for the second half of the service.

Preparing for Worship.

When you arrive at the doors of our church, which is the building at the far side of our parking lot, closest to North Osceola Avenue, ushers will be there to greet you with a smile and a bulletin so you can follow along with the service. If you are hearing-impaired and would like a headset to better hear the service, an usher will provide one for you.

Our Service.

Our services follow the liturgy of the Book of Common Prayer. If you come from a liturgical background, much of the service will be familiar to you; but if not, all the words of the service are written in the bulletin so you’ll be able to follow along word for word and know when to sit, stand, or kneel. (For past bulletins, click here.)

Communion Policy: We welcome to Communion all baptized Christians who know and love Jesus Christ and repent of their sins, regardless of their denominational affiliation. You may receive the Bread either in your hands or on your tongue; and you may receive the Wine either by holding the base of the chalice and guiding it to your lips, or by intinction, when the Bread is dipped in the Wine. If you would like to refrain from receiving either or both elements, you may cross your arms over your chest and receive a blessing instead. If for mobility reasons you require communion in your pew, please indicate this to an usher, and we will bring the Sacrament to you where you are seated. Gluten free wafers are available by request.

After the Mass.

Please introduce yourself on your way out, because we would love to get to know you; and we would love to have you join us for coffee hour immediately following the service in our parish hall.
